BBH - Budget Backpacker Hostels New Zealand is a nationwide association of affordable accommodation for backpackers. You can get a free booklet with a list of all BBH hostels in New Zealand in every tourist information centre, at the airport and in the hostels. The BBH website gives you information about each hostel as well. BBH offers a range of other services like third party car insurance. Also free and recommendable are Jasons and AA camping guides, road maps and information brochures. Generally New Zealand caters very well for tourists and everywhere you’ll find local information centres (iSite).
