SIM card for your cell phone

Cheap pre paid cards to make phone calls and send text messages are available from e.g. Vodafone, Spark and 2 Degrees. Make sure your overseas phone is unlocked for SIM cards of other providers.

Providing a postal address

You'll need a postal address when putting a car into your name and also to open a bank account and to get car insurance.

Booking the ferry to the south island and back

To cross the cook straight there are two options: the interislander or the bluebridge ferry.
If possible do the journey during the day and not during the night. Especially when the weather is nice the cruise though the Marlborough sounds is absolutely stunning! Something you don't want to miss!

Darren's a hobby pilot and loves flying. He's member of the Auckland aero club. If you are interested we can arrange an affordable scenic flight for you over Auckland, around the sky tower and the islands of the hauraki gulf.
